Art Studios 1 & 2 will provide members of the community with the opportunity to engage and participate in art education that will foster lifelong learning and creative problem-solving.

Not only will these rooms welcome artists, but individuals of all ages aspiring to explore their creative side will have access to use and enjoy these spaces. Creative minds can engage in learning artistic skills and creating artistic masterpieces across various mediums including sculpting, drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media.

Art Studio 1 will be approximately 1,109 square feet and will have seating for 24 people. Art Studio 2 will be less than 100 square feet  smaller and will have eight tables to fit 16 creative minds.

To assist in creating unique masterpieces, these rooms will be equipped with sinks, easels, drawing boards, adjustable tables and chairs and individual bins to store artwork while drying. Additionally, there will also be a range of art supplies and equipment available for purchase.

Technology equipment including a whiteboard screen (Da-lite), UST laser projector, wall-mounted PTZ camera and a Biamp Devio will also live in these rooms.

The City engages in access to visual arts by offering a variety of arts-based programming classes that allow residents to learn foundational art skills directly from professional practicing artists.

Alongside art creation, residents can get inspired by the local 2D art which will be displayed on a rail and hanging system on the walls surrounding the studios. Exhibitions will change on a rotation depending on interest and schedule.
